Impresario

An RTS Award winning short film that explored the life of an Impresario and his relationship with his granddaughter. The film was split distinctly into two parts, separated by a drastic change in style. The ‘present day’ more grounded in reality utilised hybrid animation, where 2D characters were animated over a real life physical set.

I fulfilled the roles of director, concept artist, background painter, 2D animator and editor through this project. ‘Impresario’ was completed during my third and final year of study at LAU.
